Here are just a few of the places that you can take your kids for a safe and fun Halloween Trick-or-treating experience around Kansas City!


Chuks Trux
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Olathe Community Center
6 to 8:30 p.m.
There will also be food and drinks for purchase, and more.

BMO Harris Bank (Renner Rd.)
4 to 6 p.m.
This is a Trunk-or-Treat in the bank parking lot; more than 40 Shawnee business are participating.

Saturday, October 27

Memorial Park
6 to 8 p.m.
The event will offer FREE treats, music, games, a hay ride, and more.

Shoal Creek Living History Museum
Noon to 3 p.m.
Kids Safe Halloween. “Trick or treat” door to door throughout Shoal Creek Village.

Downtown Lee’s Summit
9 a.m. to noon.
This event also includes a parade for families and their dogs (10 a.m.) and a costume contest (9 a.m.).

Liberty Hospital
3 to 5 p.m.
This is a trunk-or-treat event. There will also be games, prizes, and big trucks.

10 a.m. to noon
There will also be craft time, stories, and a family-friendly “Haunted Homes.”

Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop & Farm
3 to 6 p.m.
Trick or Treat Off the Street ($4 for ages 3 and up; FREE for kids 2 and under). This popular event includes 1860s activities, one horse drawn hay wagon ride, and candy stations sponsored by local businesses and organizations.

Downtown Overland Park
2 to 4 p.m.
There will also be music and games on the clock tower patio.

Downtown Parkville
2 to 6 p.m.

Roeland Park Community Center
9 to 11 a.m.
Healthy Halloween Spooktacular. There will be a photo booth, creepy crafts, a haunted hallway, healthy snacks, and dancing.

Sunday, October 28

Hillside Christian Church
4 to 7 p.m.

Wednesday, October 31

Scarritt Neighborhood Association
5 to 8 p.m.
This event also includes a pop-up haunted house, a toddler train, KC Ghostbusters with their Superhero friends, local mascots, food trucks, and more.

Independence Center
5 to 7 p.m.
There will also be games, prizes, and more.

4 to 6 p.m.

Ward Parkway
6 to 8 p.m.
Children (12 and under only) must be in costume.

Summit Fair
5 to 7 p.m.
There will also be in-store activities and giveaways throughout the event.

Downtown Liberty
5 to 7 p.m.

Corinth Square
4 to 6 p.m.

The Village
